Stella Becher-Urbaniak

About the person

Mag. Stella Becher-Urbaniak, BA.pth., is a systemic psychotherapist working in research, teaching, and clinical practice at Sigmund Freud University (SFU) Vienna. She completed her psychotherapy foundation course at ARGE Bildungsmanagement, followed by her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Psychotherapy Science at SFU. She is currently enrolled in the doctoral program in the same field.

At the university’s outpatient clinic for adults, she holds the position of Deputy Head and is responsible for coordinating research activities. Since 2024, she has also been teaching at the Faculty of Psychotherapy Science, supporting students in their clinical training. In addition to her academic work, she runs a private psychotherapy practice in Vienna with a systemic focus.

Mag.pth Stella Becher-Urbaniak, BA.pth., ist systemische Psychotherapeutin und an der Sigmund Freud PrivatUniversität (SFU) Wien in Forschung, Lehre und klinischer Praxis tätig. Nach dem Abschluss des psychotherapeutischen Propädeutikums an der ARGE Bildungsmanagement absolvierte sie das Bakkalaureats- sowie das Magisterstudium der Psychotherapiewissenschaft an der SFU. Derzeit befindet sie sich im Doktoratsstudium desselben Faches.

An der psychotherapeutischen Ambulanz für Erwachsene der SFU ist sie stellvertretende Leiterin und für die Koordination der Forschungsaktivitäten verantwortlich. Seit 2024 ist sie zudem als Lektorin an der Fakultät für Psychotherapiewissenschaft tätig und begleitet Studierende in Ausbildung. Neben ihrer universitären Tätigkeit führt sie eine psychotherapeutische Praxis in Wien mit systemischem Schwerpunkt.
