Snežana Milenković

About the person

Snežana Milenković is a psychologist, psychotherapist, researcher, writer and retired Univ. professor of psychology, psychotherapy and psychology of art at the University of Novi Sad. She has devoted her professional career to the teaching, practice, and study of psychotherapy.

Prof. Milenković is the author or co-author more than 200 scientific articles published in the country and abroad and three books including: Values in Contemporary Psychotherapy (1997), Psychotherapy and Spirituality (2002), and Soul Thinks in Images: Integrative Art Psychotherapy (2017) plus two handbooks more: Integrative Art Psychotherapy in Practice (2020) and Integrative Art Psychotherapy in Theory and Practice (2024). She is a member of numerous professional organizations including the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP) and a fellow of the Serbian Psychological Association.

Prof. Milenković is a co-founder, ex-president (1997-2009) and now Honorary President of the Serbian Union of Associations for Psychotherapy (SUAP), member of the Board of the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP), member of EAP Science and Research Committee (SARC) and member of EAP International Journal for Psychotherapy (IJP). Co-founder and president of the Serbian Society for Integrative Art Psychotherapy (SDIAP) (1999-present). She is the founder of the World Center of Integral Holistic Health and Integral Psychotherapy (2024). Her current focus is on promoting this World Center dedicated to the integral humankind health (body, soul & spirit).

Snežana Milenković ist Psychologin, Psychotherapeutin, Forscherin, Autorin und emeritierte Universitätsprofessorin für Psychologie, Psychotherapie und Kunstpsychologie an der Universität Novi Sad. Ihre berufliche Laufbahn widmete sie der Lehre, Praxis und Erforschung der Psychotherapie.

Prof. Milenković ist Autorin oder Mitautorin von über 200 wissenschaftlichen Artikeln, die im In- und Ausland veröffentlicht wurden, sowie von drei Büchern: Values in Contemporary Psychotherapy (1997), Psychotherapy and Spirituality (2002) und Soul Thinks in Images: Integrative Art Psychotherapy (2017), zusätzlich zu zwei Handbüchern: Integrative Art Psychotherapy in Practice (2020) und Integrative Art Psychotherapy in Theory and Practice (2024). Sie ist Mitglied zahlreicher Fachorganisationen, darunter die European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP), sowie Ehrenmitglied der Serbischen Psychologischen Gesellschaft.

Prof. Milenković ist Mitbegründerin, ehemalige Präsidentin (1997–2009) und derzeitige Ehrenpräsidentin der Serbischen Union der Psychotherapieverbände (SUAP), Mitglied des Vorstands der European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP), Mitglied des EAP Science and Research Committee (SARC) und Redaktionsmitglied des International Journal for Psychotherapy (IJP). Sie ist außerdem Mitbegründerin und Präsidentin der Serbischen Gesellschaft für Integrative Kunstpsychotherapie (SDIAP) (seit 1999). 2024 gründete sie das World Center of Integral Holistic Health and Integral Psychotherapy, dessen derzeitige Förderung und Entwicklung ihren beruflichen Schwerpunkt bildet – mit dem Ziel, ganzheitliche Gesundheit von Körper, Seele und Geist weltweit zu stärken.
