Regina Hofer

About the person

Dr. Regina Hofer is a psychoanalyst, group analyst, and training analyst with many years of experience in psychotherapeutic practice, teaching, and supervision. She teaches and supervises at Sigmund Freud University in Vienna and is a training analyst for group analysis within the Austrian Association for Group Therapy and Group Dynamics (ÖAGG). In addition to her clinical work, she is active in group-analytic team and organizational development, combining in-depth psychiatric expertise with a creative approach to the therapeutic relationship. Dr. Hofer is also a cabaret artist—her performances reflect social and psychodynamic themes with both depth and humor. She runs a private practice in Vienna.

Dr. Regina Hofer ist Psychoanalytikerin, Gruppenanalytikerin sowie Lehranalytikerin mit langjähriger Erfahrung in der psychotherapeutischen Praxis, Lehre und Supervision. Sie ist als Lektorin und Supervisorin an der Sigmund Freud PrivatUniversität tätig und bildet zudem Gruppenanalytiker*innen im Rahmen des ÖAGG aus. Neben ihrer klinischen Arbeit ist sie als gruppenanalytische Team- und Organisationsentwicklerin tätig und verbindet in ihrer Arbeit fundiertes psychiatrisches Wissen mit einem kreativen Zugang zur therapeutischen Beziehung. Dr. Hofer ist auch als Kabarettistin aktiv – ihre pointierten Bühnenbeiträge reflektieren gesellschaftliche und psychodynamische Themen mit Tiefgang und Humor. Sie führt eine eigene Praxis in Wien.
