Michael Wieser

About the person

Dr. Michael Alexander Wieser is an assistant professor, psychologist, psychotherapist, and certified psychodrama educator. He serves as country co-coordinator of the Society for Psychotherapy Research and is vice-president as well as honorary member of the Society Moreno Museum.

He is an active member of several editorial boards and maintains the international psychodrama bibliography. For his contributions to the field, he was awarded the Zerka T. Moreno Award. His current research focuses on the use of psychodrama in palliative care settings.

Dr. Michael Alexander Wieser ist Assistenzprofessor, Psychologe, Psychotherapeut und ausgebildeter Psychodramaleiter. Er ist Länderkoordinator der Society for Psychotherapy Research sowie Vizepräsident und Ehrenmitglied der Society Moreno Museum.

Er ist Mitglied mehrerer wissenschaftlicher Beiräte und betreut die internationale Psychodrama-Bibliografie. Für seine Verdienste wurde ihm der Zerka T. Moreno Award verliehen. Seine aktuelle Forschung widmet sich dem Einsatz von Psychodrama in der Palliativversorgung.
