Johannes Gregoritsch

About the person

Johannes Gregoritsch is a lawyer at the The Federation of Social Insurances in Austria, dealing with matters concerning i.a. psychotherapists and psychologists. He studied law, psychology, economics and African studies at the universities of Vienna and Salzburg. After his court practice, he worked in the legal profession, at the former European Commission on Human Rights in Strasbourg and at the UN Refugee Agency. Study visits to South Africa and dissertation at the University of Salzburg (focus on human rights/social rights). Numerous consulting and lecturing activities accompany his professional career until today. Teaching focus at SFU: Legal Framework at the Faculty as well within the English Programme: Introductions into Health Insurance and Health Care Environment.

​Johannes Gregoritsch befasst sich beim Dachverband der österreichischen Sozialversicherungsträger als Jurist u.a. mit Angelegenheiten von PsychotherapeutInnen und PsychologInnen. Er studierte an den Unis Wien und Salzburg Jus, Psychologie, Volkswirtschaft und Afrikanistik. Nach der Gerichtspraxis war er u.a. tätig in der Rechtsanwaltschaft, bei der vormaligen Europ. Menschenrechtskommission in Straßburg und beim UN-Flüchtlingshilfswerk. Studienaufenthalte in Südafrika und Dissertation an der Uni Salzburg (Fokus Menschenrechte/soziale Rechte). Zahlreiche Konsulenten- und Vortragstätigkeiten begleiten seine berufliche Laufbahn bis heute. Schwerpunkte als Lektor an der SFU: Einführung in das Sozialversicherungswesen, Einführung in die Gesundheitsökonomie; Legal Framework within the English Programme: Introductions into Health Insurance and Health Care Environment.
