Ioana Anghel-Pirich

About the person

Mag. Ioana Anghel-Pirich is a lecturer at Sigmund Freud Private University (SFU) in Vienna, with extensive experience in teaching, project coordination, and clinical training in the field of psychotherapy science. As a lecturer, she teaches key courses such as Health and Illness in Social Perspectives, Psychosocial Intervention, and Academic Writing. Since 2019, she has served as Director of the Learning Centre at SFU, where she regularly conducts workshops on metacognitive strategies, self-regulated learning, and academic writing. Additionally, she is the Coordinator of Clinical Placement at the Faculty of Psychotherapy Science, with a research focus on psychotherapeutic work with homeless individuals and refugees. Ioana Anghel-Pirich has been actively involved in the design, supervision, and implementation of external projects at SFU for many years. Her work is characterized by intercultural competence, research-based practice, and a strong commitment to the academic development of students.

Mag. Ioana Anghel-Pirich ist Lehrende an der Sigmund Freud PrivatUniversität Wien (SFU) und bringt umfassende Erfahrung in Lehre, Projektkoordination und klinischer Ausbildung im Bereich der Psychotherapiewissenschaft mit. Als Vortragende unterrichtet sie zentrale Module wie Health and Illness in Social Perspectives, Psychosoziale Intervention sowie Wissenschaftliches Arbeiten. Seit 2019 leitet sie das Learning Centre der SFU, wo sie regelmäßig Workshops zu metakognitivem Lernen, Selbstregulation und akademischem Schreiben anbietet. Darüber hinaus ist sie Koordinatorin für klinische Praktika an der Fakultät für Psychotherapiewissenschaft, mit einem Forschungsschwerpunkt auf psychotherapeutischer Arbeit mit wohnungslosen Menschen und Geflüchteten.
