Ines Gstrein

About the person

Mag. phil. Ines Gstrein is a psychotherapist specializing in Humanistic Therapy (Person-Centered Psychotherapy), a supervisor, and an ÖBVP-certified Infant, Child, and Adolescent Psychotherapist. She is also a certified Lifespan Integration© therapist, trainer, and supervisor. Her psychotherapeutic training includes specialization in Person-Centered Psychotherapy through the Austrian Association for Person-Centered Psychotherapy and Counseling (ÖGWG), as well as the completion of the psychotherapeutic propaedeutic program.

Academically, she holds a degree in Educational Sciences with selected subjects focusing on psychoanalytic foundations from the University of Innsbruck and completed the first phase of psychology studies at the University of Graz.

Since 2005, she has been working in private practice as a psychotherapist. Her main areas of focus include complex trauma-related disorders, psychotraumatology, women's health, and supervision. She is also involved in teaching and lecturing in various psychotherapy training and educational programs.

Mag. Gstrein is actively engaged in professional advocacy and serves as a member of the Executive Board of the Austrian Federal Association for Psychotherapy (ÖBVP) and as Chair of the Tyrolean Association for Psychotherapy (TLP).

Über die Person

Mag. phil. Ines Gstrein ist Psychotherapeutin mit dem Schwerpunkt Humanistische Therapie (Personzentrierte Psychotherapie), Supervisorin sowie vom Österreichischen Bundesverband für Psychotherapie (ÖBVP) zertifizierte Säuglings-, Kinder- und Jugendlichenpsychotherapeutin. Sie ist zudem zertifizierte Lifespan Integration©-Therapeutin, Trainerin und Supervisorin in diesem Verfahren. Ihre psychotherapeutische Ausbildung absolvierte sie in der Personzentrierten Psychotherapie bei der ÖGWG sowie im Rahmen des psychotherapeutischen Propädeutikums.

Akademisch verfügt sie über ein Studium der Erziehungswissenschaften und ausgewählter Fächer mit psychoanalytischen Grundlagen an der Universität Innsbruck sowie über ein begonnenes Psychologiestudium an der Universität Graz.

Seit 2005 ist sie in freier Praxis als Psychotherapeutin tätig. Ihre Arbeitsschwerpunkte liegen in den Bereichen komplexe Traumafolgestörungen, Psychotraumatologie, Frauengesundheit sowie Supervision. Darüber hinaus ist sie in verschiedenen Ausbildungs- und Weiterbildungsprogrammen als Lehrende und Vortragende aktiv.

Mag. Gstrein engagiert sich berufspolitisch und ist Mitglied des Vorstandes des Österreichischen Bundesverbands für Psychotherapie (ÖBVP) sowie Vorsitzende des Tiroler Landesverbands für Psychotherapie (TLP).
