Birgitta Schiller

About the person

Univ.-Ass. Mag. Birgitta Schiller is a lecturer at the Faculty of Psychotherapy Science at Sigmund Freud University (SFU) in Vienna. She studied Psychotherapy Science at SFU, specializing in Individual Psychology. Since 2019, she has been a registered psychotherapist and works in private practice. Birgitta Schiller is also a scientific assistant at the Institute for Qualitative Psychotherapy Research and the Institute for Psychosomatics at SFU.

Her teaching focuses on qualitative psychotherapy research, psychosomatics, and corporeality in psychotherapy, as well as organizational research and training research. Since 2020, she has been pursuing PhD studies in the International Doctoral Program at Sigmund Freud University.

Univ.-Ass. Mag. Birgitta Schiller ist Lektorin an der Fakultät für Psychotherapiewissenschaft an der Sigmund Freud PrivatUniversität (SFU) in Wien. Sie hat Psychotherapiewissenschaft an der SFU mit dem Fachspezifikum Individualpsychologie studiert. Seit 2019 ist sie eingetragene Psychotherapeutin und arbeitet in eigener Praxis. Birgitta Schiller ist zudem wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Institut für Qualitative Psychotherapieforschung und am Institut für Psychosomatik an der SFU.

Schwerpunkte ihrer Lehre sind qualitative Psychotherapieforschung, Psychosomatik und Körperlichkeit in der Psychotherapie sowie Organisationsforschung und Ausbildungsforschung. Seit 2020 verfolgt sie ein Doktoratsstudium im internationalen Doktoratsprogramm an der Sigmund Freud PrivatUniversität.
