Agnieszka Wilczyńska

Agnieszka Wilczynska (Professor, Dr. hab.) is a clinical psychologist, psychotherapist, researcher, and author with over 30 years of experience in Poland and the United Arab Emirates.

She completed her PhD in Psychology at the University of Silesia in 2000 and her habilitation at Jagiellonian University in 2017.

Agnieszka has worked with a variety of academic and clinical institutions and is currently affiliated with Wyższa Szkola Ksztalcenia Zawodowego in Poland and the American Center for Psychiatry in the UAE. From 2000 to 2019, she led the Partner Psychological Center, providing psychotherapy to individuals and families. For a decade, she also served as a consultant psychologist and coordinator of counseling at the Zimbardo Youth Center, a project run by the Polish-American Foundation in collaboration with Philip Zimbardo.

With a strong focus on research and knowledge dissemination, Agnieszka Wilczynska has delivered over 150 presentations at international conferences, including TED Talks. She has authored three books and published more than 160 peer-reviewed articles. Her contributions to the field extend to serving on the editorial boards of several international scientific journals.

Agnieszka Wilczyńska (Professorin, Dr. hab.) ist eine klinische Psychologin, Psychotherapeutin, Forscherin und Autorin mit über 30 Jahren Erfahrung in Polen und den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten. Sie erwarb ihren Doktortitel in Psychologie an der Universität Schlesien im Jahr 2000 und ihre Habilitation an der Jagiellonen-Universität im Jahr 2017.

Agnieszka hat mit einer Vielzahl akademischer und klinischer Institutionen zusammengearbeitet und ist derzeit an der Wyższa Szkoła Kształcenia Zawodowego in Polen und am American Center for Psychiatry in den VAE tätig. Von 2000 bis 2019 leitete sie das Partner Psychological Center, wo sie Psychotherapie für Einzelpersonen und Familien anbot. Zehn Jahre lang war sie auch als beratende Psychologin und Koordinatorin für Beratung im Zimbardo Youth Center tätig, einem Projekt der polnisch-amerikanischen Stiftung in Zusammenarbeit mit Philip Zimbardo.

Mit einem starken Fokus auf Forschung und Wissensvermittlung hat Agnieszka Wilczyńska über 150 Vorträge auf internationalen Konferenzen gehalten, einschließlich TED Talks. Sie ist Autorin von drei Büchern und hat mehr als 160 begutachtete Artikel veröffentlicht.
